There appear to be lots of songs named Smile.

Speaking of songs, I hope the next time the Mane 6 fight against a big villain in MLPFIM, they'll have a song like this playing:

Oh, Equestria, we stand on guard for thee!

Breaking the laws of thermodynamics

Ask Ace. He's apparently done it.
He betrayed the LAW!
I took a guess and cut a portion out of my heart.
He said, "That's nowhere close enough, but it's a damn good start."

I thought it was becoming a witch that violated thermodynamics.

I'm pretty sure that the whole thing breaks thermodynamics, the transformation to a witch is just the moment when the most energy is created.

Though, Ace said that we're part of the Madokami verse, so he'd disappear rather than turn into a witch.

Then again, he may just be saying that so we don't drive him to despair FOR SCIENCE!

And this post is full of spoilers...

I'm bored, so here's a picture of Sweetie Belmont:

Can you cool it with the Karn puns, Zennistrad? No problem. They were kinda Karny anyway.

Post of the Day #108

Well, thing is I wasn't submitting a story. It's the photos of my second go at my Winter Wrap Up Twilight. All I sent was a short little blurb with my 6 photos (I posted them a while back in the thread, but I can repost them if you guys want to see, since I think that post was kind of buried a bit by the sock puppetry) of her, so I wouldn't think it wouldn't take too long to glance at it and decide if they want to post the photos or not.

And yea, I was thinking of sending a follow up asking if it just wasn't creative enough or maybe if he wanted higher res pics or something like that.

By the way, what was everyone's favorite weapon in Bastion? Mine is the Breaker Bow. I used it the whole game on my first playthrough.

I went with hammer/pistols, until I got hammer/mortar.

I couldn't stand the hammer or the bow. My favorite melee weapon was the machete at first, then the spear when I got it. It has wonderful range and you can throw it. It makes Anklebiters a breeze.

For guns, I went with a fully upgraded repeater or musket. Upgraded all the way, the repeater shoots out a huge flurry of shots all at once that will home in on anything on the screen. The musket I upgraded so that it worked at long range, had a huge spread, and great knockback. Rather than use it for its actual damage output, I mostly used it to blast Ura warriors off cliffs so I didn't have to actually fight them.

Unfortunately those are the only two weapons I upgraded to max, which is one reason I still plan to do the New Game Plus, I want to see what all the weapons can do.

I never got the point of the hammer. It was so slow and akward to use. For up close enemies like squirt swarms and peckers, the war machete and flame bellows are much faster and more effective.

I guess I was kidn of biased against the Fang Repeater because it's proving grounds are so freaking hard. With the Breaker Bow, pulling off power shot after power shot and mowing down your enemies from afar is so fun, even if the lack of splash does make it a less effective weapon in raw damage output. And unlike the Calamity canon, it wont ever hurt you on accident if your shot hits something nearby, and you can fire it fast in a pinch, plus even power shots are still relatively fast compared to the other range weapons.

When I saw someone playing the demo, I thought the narrator would quickly get annoying, but he doesn't. It actually works really well I think.
