@Apple: Like I said, don't let one or two people ruin the whole thing for you. I know you dislike how the mods do things sometimes, and sometimes I agree with you, but honestly, other than that I don't really have any gripes about this site. It's too useful and too entertaining for me to abandon just because of a handful of incidents like this. The other thing is that I really don't see the point in evacuating over this. Yes, I think the mods made a bad call, but I honestly don't see any other reason to leave this forum other than one or two questionable bannings, and their ultimatum to the thread to stay on topic.

I'd also like to note that I've been fairly active in other parts of the forum (or at least lurking), and the mods put up with tremendous amounts of BS on a regular basis, so I can understand why they might be cheesed off at some of the drama and not want to deal with it. I'm not saying it justifies a "ban first, ask questions later" mentality, but I can see why they would react negatively to a whole thread's worth of people coming out of the woodwork to protest a ban that was unrelated to the thread in question.

But we should probably get onto another topic. Discussing this at length really isn't going to help anyway.

Quite adorable. I think my appreciation of Pinkie has gone up during the hiatus. Now instead of finding her actions/lines to be alternatively funny/annoying I just get hit with tons of wonderful fanart that makes her look really cute and sweet.

Pinkie pretty much gets the best fanart. Fortunately she's closely followed by Rainbow Dash.

Pinkie still bounces around for me depending on the episode. In MM Mystery she was awesome, in "A Friend in Deed"...I'm not going to go there. But yeah, she's typically either the best or most annoying part of any given episode. I like her, though. And yeah, she does get awesome fanart.

I can't speak for Applelight but I know if I tried to list everyone here I considered a friend there's no way I'd be able to do it without forgetting a few.

Of course, in the smaller communities I'm in like this, I tend to treat everyone as a friend unless they act hostile, which is something that tends to be considered a no-no around here :P

By the way, I was looking through the dvds in my library. Which of these do you think is worth watching? Kung Fu Panda, The Guardians of Ga'Hoole movie, and Doctor Who: Daleks/Edge of Destruction?

Only one of those I've seen is Kung Fu Panda, and I actually really enjoyed it.
