Rainbow Dash: Maggie Vera (Bubbles in The Powerpuff Girls).

Applejack: Mariana Ortiz (May in Pokémon).

Pinkie Pie: Elsa Covian (Princess Clara in Drawn Together).

Yes, but directly before that is an actual motive for her Face Heel Turn, which implies that she chose to become this way. I think "transformed" is being used because Nightmare Moon is simply a different and more powerful form of Luna.

Back on the subject of fanfics, I got a question to the people who beta-read the drafts I posted of my own:

I'm seriously thinking of starting the story over from scratch. Keeping the same essential plot, but with one crucial difference: Instead of the mane six having an adventure, Luna goes solo. Whaddya think of that?

(I feel like asking for advice on more specific plot instances, but I don't want to post them in this thread since, well, spoilers).

IT's mostly that her 'regular' personality is such a stark contrast to her nightmare moon persona that lends credence to the multiple personalities, I think. After all, Nightmare moon was completely confident. Luna was downright petrified of her sister. Yeah, because she though she was going back to the moon, but Nightmare moon would have lashed out, not cowered. If they were the same personality, there would have been lingering resentment even after Celestia forgave her - 1000 years is a long time for anyone - but Luna was pretty clearly taking the 'all my fault' approach.

I wouldn't call it a split personality, but it's probable someone was manipulating her for their gain. That, or Luna is a very, very good actress. or, in a third and by far the most disturbing possibility, nightmare moon was in fact Luna, through and through, and the elements of harmony...cooled her down a little

@Kuroi: Both times I've submitted I think he sent me a 'off to the prereaders' within a day. I think it varies depending on how many fics they get, but it's usually another day after that until he gives you the yes or no? How long have you been waiting on it now?

@Moe I think I'd feel a little sad seeing Luna go at it solo, especially since she's already spent a lot of time being off on her lonesome. Plus if she'll off on her own, you miss out on the chance for some pony to pony interaction. Of course, being on her own would also increase the impact of how hostile the human world seems. So I guess think about what direction you're aiming before you make your final decision, because I could see either way working out.

Huh...well, that's pretty odd. Especially since you don't really see craft pictures up all that often...he might just be swamped at the moment, who knows? Or maybe he gives different priorities to pictures.

About the idea to change the fic to focus on Luna going, I think it has potential to really change the mood of the story - It seemed like you were going more for comedy, but having a single character taking on all that burden could be pretty heavy...It's not impossible for it to still be funny, but still.

Yea, I think you might be right. A couple hours ago, one of the posts did say he was going into 'ultimate grind mode.' And I guess fanfiction might move faster since he gets to delegate to the pre-readers. Well, at least I've at least got something resembling a gauge of what's going on.

Above discusion confirm that we need flashback episode showing what hapen 1000 years before.

I was just watching Applejack's Cutie Mark story again, and I got all happy-sniffly for some reason when little Applejack is running home with that joyful look on her face. I watched it twice. Teared up twice. I'm not sure what provoked that reaction.

Hmmm, I'm starting to suspect I was rejected without notice. One of the newest posts features stuff that was added to the owner's DA account less than a day ago. Would have been nice to know why they weren't impressed, though. :/

It could be that the pre-readers just haven't finished agreeing on your story yet. Or they're waiting on one of the pre-readers to get his act together. According to Phoe, the world of ED pre-reading is a mad and chaotic place.

So be patient! If you don't get anything after a while, it's possible your e-mail didn't get noticed, so just politely send a follow-up e-mail.

Yeah, my story took a while to get posted. The blog says that they won't reject your story without giving you feedback.

It's more likely that the pre-readers are slightly behind schedule. I'd suggest sending Sethisto a friendly email asking about it.

Well, thing is I wasn't submitting a story. It's the photos of my second go at my Winter Wrap Up Twilight. All I sent was a short little blurb with my 6 photos (I posted them a while back in the thread, but I can repost them if you guys want to see, since I think that post was kind of buried a bit by the sock puppetry) of her, so I wouldn't think it wouldn't take too long to glance at it and decide if they want to post the photos or not.

And yea, I was thinking of sending a follow up asking if it just wasn't creative enough or maybe if he wanted higher res pics or something like that.
