In "A Bird in the Hoof" I felt bad for Philomena. I mean, okay, she bursts into flames and is reborn, but her body literally falls apart first: she dies by inches getting more and more sickly and then a point is reached, she bursts into flames and
then is reborn.
It just seems kind of a nasty way to go about it; if she just dropped dead, burst into flames and was reborn, or even just burst into flames that wouldn't be so bad.
