- The central cast is diverse and has something for everyone, and most of the characters are versatile enough to serve different roles in different episodes without losing their unique feel. Having talented voice actresses (
Tara Strong has been in the industry since 1986, for example) certainly helps.
- The design is incredibly expressive and the animation very smooth, considering the budget for the thing.
- The show never talks down to its audience, and delivers the lessons it wants to teach with dignity, rather than half-assing them or forcing them down the viewers' throats.
- Most of the humour in the show is derived from the characters, instead of slackstick, over-the-top wackiness or shout-outs. It uses the latter three when they fit, instead of as the default option.
- The music is above-average for a kids' show, and the score is composed specifically for each episode, instead having stock BGM.
- The fandom is really fun to be a part of, and there's tons of fanfics, comics, videos and memes to obsess over even after you've watched every episode.
