Here's an interesting question: when you read/look at random fanart and fanfiction about the BG ponies that don't have an official voice in the show, how do you hear their voices in your head?
For Vinyl Scratch, I hear her with the voice of Rebecca Crane from Assassin's Creed. Just tell me her voice isn't fitting for Scratch (skip to 0:08, 0:41 and 0:57 in the video below to get good examples of her style of speech)

Basically, the climate of Yack Fest allows for conversation to go to much stranger places and for longer than in WA. Case in point, an extended discussion on the nature of trangenderism in Equestria.

That was my first thought. Second thought: The elements are still in the castle, possibly even in the same room, and Discord just concealed them very well.

Or maybe they even need to ask Celestia or Luna where they were way back during Discord's rampaging rule.
The whole "where it all began" could mean almost anything. The "all" could refer to Celestia's and Luna's uprising against him, to how Twilight and company met.
Hell, it might even be Cloudsdale, since that's where a certain pegasus caused a certain chain of events as a foal.

You haven't seen me in months because I don't hang out in yack fest and at certain points you guys talk about things I never know about in the Furry Covens so I gave that one up.
And seriously, why didn't you think there would be an MLP: FIM thread in, I dunno, the Western Animation section where it belonged?

I never was looking for a FIM thread, saw one suddenly in yackfest. Then the usual cycle of checking it, posting in it a few times and adding it to the watchlist happened.
