RC, you seriously don't beleive the stupid theory that humans evolved straight from monkeys? Otherwise we wouldn't have monkeys around in the first place.

Yeah yeah, humans and chimpanzees share 90% similar genes or whatever blah blah, but we can just assume that the ancestor of the human race did not survive in the world of Equestria, while the ancestors of the evolution branch that became monkies did.

Evolution isn't something that happens to the whole species, like turning a switch that instantly makes them all obtain feature X.

Another species could well have evolved from monkeys without monkeys dying out.

I'm calling your biology teacher, young man.

Monkeys are not species.

The're not humans in MLPFIM. I will even ignore canon in that case (but MLPFIM creators don't like idea of humans in show).

The reason we don't have Pegasi in our world is the same reason we don't have world peace - our world doesn't have magic.

Earth has Laughter, Kindness, Loyalty, Generosity, and Honesty, but Magic? Nothing more than tricks on the eye.
