^^^I think Spike will eat anything, but he prefers gems. Gilda is a carnivore, I'd say, though in my fic she can also eat bread (so she and Fluttershy can talk over food, mostly).

If I had to guess, I'd say that it's not so much Spike's jaw as it is his saliva - he sucks on a gem like a lollipop at one point, doesn't he? That implies to me that dragon saliva might be corrosive.

Spike can produce saliva that contains special enzymes that weaken the structure of otherwise inedible non-biological materials so that he can chew them as a preliminary part of his digestive process. It's part of the reason why he sucks on gems sometimes instead of just biting them. Sure, they taste good, but it also makes it easier for him to eat them.

Dragons eat stuff like gems or other thing what normal creatures doesn't consider as food because normal food (meat to) is stuff for baby dragons.

They are like the others. Strange, hideous, resisting, fighting. Only these were not like the others. They did not die.

"Nightmare Night", eh?

I wonder if it's supposed to mean nightmares in the usual sense, or if it's a reference to Nightmare Moon.

I like this synopsis. It's an interesting-sounding plot, and it gives us a reason for that screenshot of Luna (she's not being evil, she's getting into the holiday spirit!)

Though, I wonder... is the gap between 2 and 3 only this one week? You'd think that if episode 4 is a Halloween episode, it'd be closer to the actual day. As it stands, it'll be airing roughly in the middle of the month.
