So this reveals I'm still obsessed with Oblivion. Maniac has recently become one of my new favorite words to say a lot. Followers because of the tumblr thing, Indian because I keep having to correct people on what race I made Twilight. And "Thee", "furthermore", "gents", "gentlemen", and "wee" makes me sound like a pretentious Englishman. I ponder if I should Dumb down my vocabulary

Quickly backtracks all of the previous post:

Hmm, can't say I'm surprised by ANY of the words on my list. I admit I didn't think I talked about Sonic that much here though.

Moe Dantes: The Applejack scene sounds good on paper at least because it was a more personality driven revelation, the ones used in the final script seemed a bit forced. Rarity got the most out of it due to her hammy confession, but the others felt a little shoehorned in (though Fluttershy I supposed kinda worked on the sheer fact it was Fluttershy). Rather surprising RD had the most undeveloped relevance, since she is the one I would have most expected to make an amusing in character manner of commiting the crime.

Not to mention AJ got the short end of the stick in that episode (and a few odd more in season two) so another character establishing scene would have balanced it nicely.

And I liked Look Before You Sleep. Fun episode. I liked the mundane character establishing ones as well. It's About Time was okay but it seemed a bit like an underplayed rehash of Lesson Zero (Twilight going nuts while obsessing about some detail).

I loved It's about Time! It's one of my favourites! (Possibly largely influenced by my inner Star Swirl fanboyism and the fact that it worked so nicely for my fanfic plans, but still.)

Look before you Sleep like Sisterhooves Social has the issue that it reminds me too much of my real life problems, which results in a rather more depressing experience than I'm used to when watching the show. So they're not going to be my favourites simply due to personal issues.

That's what happens when a show has relatable and realistic characters. You know you have something special when people recognize themselves in the people/ponies you've made up.
