Hey guys...
Today has been an interesting turnaround for me. It started out horrible horrible horrible—like a chicken (and ten cookies for anybrony who gets that reference).
First I was having a bit of a midlife crisis and feeling like my life was going in circles, and I kept saying "God I wish something
new would come into my life! Something
interesting!"
Then I was brought down by the heat, and I wished like god I was capable of staying up all night like I used to.
Third and finally, one of my cats, a cute little black-and-white fluffball named Tama, had disappeared three days back and I was worried she was gone for good if you know what I mean (she's kind of an old cat, so...).
BUT THEN...
I went to Goodwill and discovered Agatha Christie, whose works I had honestly never read before. The book was
The ABC Murders and at first I was inclined to hate it... but its a very literal case of being a book where the ending totally changes everything.
I wound up reading it straight in one run and by the time I finished, it was 2 AM... and its 3 AM now. So, second wish granted.
The best part is? Tama finally reappeared, alive and well and apparently not hurt in any way whatsoever.
So now I'm smiling.
Now if you excuse me I'm gonna go kiss Rainbow Dash. Because I can.
