I'm still trying to figure out how Equestria consistantly seems to forget about its own history. They forgot about both Discord AND Nightmare Moon. Was Celestia purposefully witholding info or something?

I'm starting to think both Nightmare Moon and Discord were tests set up by Celestia to test Twilight's skill on using with the Elements of Harmony. After a matter of seconds of Twilight being corrupted Celestia knew exactly what happened and reacted accordingly.

Part of me wants to say that 1000 years is a hell of a long time, enough for most details to become obscured, but Celestia was actually alive for all that, so there isn't really much excuse. Maybe ponies just don't take a large interest in history, or maybe Celestia didn't want her sister to be remembered as a monster. As for Discord, Cheerilee at least knew what species he was, so maybe some info about him is remembered? And if the time he ruled was as chaotic as Ponyville this last episode, there probably weren't a lot of written records of that time.

Does anyone else want to see more Wonderbolts? I think they need an episode where RD hangs out with the Wonderbolts, and finding them not cool enough, decides to stay with her current friends.

I'm not saying she can't, but if she was friends with the Wonderbolts I'd imagine she'd spend more time with them than the Mane 6.
