^That may be, yes, but no one's being assigned to fulfill a certain role, I shouldn't think. Basically, it's not a
bad thing to know what you want to do in life, because it's what you yourself want to grow old doing. You can't give yourself a false cutie mark or a mark for something you'll grow tired of in a year.

I'm a college student! I don't have time for this!
What about if a pony goes through a midlife crisis or something?
"And there was this sexy-ass nurse, and the guy's just like, 'BOOM SHOCKA-LOCKA-LOCKA BOOM SHOCKA-LOCKA-LOCKA.'"

Ponies propably don't have that kind of crissis.
They are like the others. Strange, hideous, resisting, fighting. Only these were not like the others. They did not die.
Does the gray pegasus recolor of Granny Smith have a name? Y'know, the one in the rainbow factory.
"Schneizel! So you ARE the
puppet master behind all this!" - Lelouch Lamperouge
Tealove is best pony
No, she don't have any name, even fan name, because this fandom don't give name to any pony on screen (bad pokerface AJ).
Character page for backgrouds have link to page of MLPFIM wiki where listed are everypony with any name and nickname they have.
They are like the others. Strange, hideous, resisting, fighting. Only these were not like the others. They did not die.
I'd guess ponies do have midlife crises, they just get over them faster, because they have that unshakeable thing to return to - and they
know they have it, which is where ponies differ from humans.
Edit: Also, I totally misinterpreted 'rainbow factory' up there.

@Red
Maybe their crisis is about how they feel that they are not true to their CM.

^Perhaps, but it would take special circumstances to cause someone to feel like they'd lost whatever it was their cutie mark embodies. Since they have one, they must know what their calling is, and I can't really think of anything off the top of my head that would change that.
(Yes, I've sent in a banhammer request. Keep calm and discuss ponies.)

I think ponies had CM before. In fanon Celestria and Luna use them as argument in Trial of Ponykind made by
Dis Qord that ponies aren't evil, that their CM are allways good or neutral, and ponies will never have evil CM , unless they are corrupted.

Unless your give proof that ponies in Equestria aren't worship them you can't deny their godhood.
I know they aren't powerfull, raising Sun and Moon is not impresive at all. :I

I've always considered male ponies' cutie marks to be macho marks, because it sounds cooler.
Also, somebody around 10 pages ago thought it was weird that I was disappointed by the lack of songs. The pilot had a song, so it's not that far out of the question.

Extra clever/Earthbound spirit/Ghost in the form/Of a mongoose
^^^Can't tell if sarcastic or what...
And I think it's pretty obvious that no one in Equestria worships her literally. They give her the respect she's due both as a princess and as a wise and benevolent ruler, and they're naturally uneasy in her presence (because she's a god-princess), but there's no religion based around Celestia.
^It's a big green apple with a slice out of it.
