But anyway, I can kinda understand why they weren't famous after the first pilot; there was a celebration going on anyway, and Celestia might not have wanted to give out two many details about her sister because it was too personal. But after a giant celebration where the entire purpose was to honor their contributions, it seems highly unlikely that they wouldn't be well known after that.

I suspect the culture of Equestria is such that even twice-celebrated heroes get to go back to living normal lives after the celebrations are over and done.

I'm guessing it's going to be glossed over so that they can go back to the slice of life stuff. Which is fine with me, honestly. A few episodes of the cast being well known would be fine, but I wouldn't want too much of it.
