^I think there's a bit of basis to it, but again, I have to wonder if correlation equals causation in this case. Do ponies who have to act contrarily to their cutie marks begin to snap because they're acting contrary to their cutie marks, or is it because of the stress of whatever situation they're in and thus entirely unrelated to the mark, or is it just that going contrary to an integral part of their personality is stressful (again, not directly related to the mark)?

I just see it as, when they aren't able to do what they do anymore, they say "Oh, I'm not good at my life's calling anymore. I think I'll just go insane."

CMFIS is a pretty cynical condition if it does exist, but I guess it provides a good trade off to the fact that they KNOW for a fact what their calling in life is. Unlike us.

I honestly think fans put a lot more importance on cutie marks than the ponies themselves do. The Crusaders are pretty worked up over them because they are at the age when they get them and see it as sort of a mark of being grown up. But outside of talking to the fillies about them, have we ever seen an adult pony even mention cutie marks? They don't seem to give it much thought.

That was due to a last minute change to her outfit. They didn't give her one because you originally weren't supposed to be able to see it anyway.

Why should they? It's just an ass tatoo that serves as a constant reminder of their purpose in life. I imagine that some ponies use it when looking for workers though.

Equestrian job applications probably ask what your cutie mark is.

^^Dash is usually pretty flat, yeah. Applejack and Fluttershy seem to get the most talent, generally speaking, though I consider that particular trend for humanized Fluttershy to be caused by the moe phenomenon (read as: Mikuru).

Usually I see Fluttershy as the biggest, Pinkie as the second biggest (Madmax actually drew a picture of her grabbing her boobs and thinking "balloons?"), Rarity/AJ tied for the third biggest, Twilight as second flattest and Dashie as completely flat

Dashie being flat makes sense, because that would make her faster in the air

^^That sounds accurate to me, actually. Pinkie strikes me as someone who's at once entirely at ease with her body and someone who knows relatively well how to use what she's got. (That has absolutely no basis aside from her party nature and a picture Megasweet did.)

I dunno, I think Pinkie is more of a innocent character. She definitely acts the youngest of the group, so I would imagine that she wouldn't know how to use those..."ballons" of hers

they also seem to be a bit droopier than Fluttershy's. Maybe it's cuz of all the bouncing she does. Can't be good for her balloons
