I think Pegasus ponies are probably the lightest ponies anyway.

But it was a parody. Also among the best things. Not THE best thing, but I can't talk about what that is since this is neither the literature nor the film board.

I don't see how it's supposed to be any more racist than Zecora obviously being black/African.

Yeah. Shame it was rejected by the group I was entering it in. Anyway you could see I could improve the art?

I'm not sure what advice I could offer, perhaps the outlines should be thinner and it should look steadier?

Try drawing it by hand

I actually drew it my hand first and the lines were even thicker and the coloring looked uneven.

Thanks. I just thought that donkeys were accosiated with negative Hispanic stereotypes somehow. But I'm glad nopony thinks it's a problem.

^Well, I certainly wouldn't risk it, but if you want to, go ahead.

I would caution you, though - while zebras are, as Anonymous said, obviously African, there are no negative stereotypes (or really, stereotypes at all, as far as I know) associated with zebras. Donkeys, on the other hand, have a host of negative stereotypes associated with them, and I'm pretty sure it wouldn't take you long at all to find an instance of those stereotypes being applied to Latinos.

Laconic version: If you feel the need to head off complaints by saying how you're not trying to be racist in your description, you probably should try to rework the idea.

I don't get offended by it. But I am not sure how my co-nationals would react surprised

So, I had a thought. Could, long ago before Discord's reign of terror, Discord could could have ruled with Celestia and Luna and with him representing Chaos and the Alicorn sisters representing order Equestria had normally functioning nature? But then after Discord started causing terror for everyone for whatever reason and was sealed in stone then without chaos the Natural Order stopped working and ponies had to do everything on their own.
