The show caused me to care enough about the fact that the Apocalypse Ponies had yet to result in anyone making an Apocalypse Pony to the point where I did the art for one myself. So yeah, I think I'm part of the 'fandom'. <_<

Oh, and there was also that picture of the main cast with beards that I turned into My Little Pirates.

Where is all the MLPFIM fanfic anyway? The pit of voles is pretty sparse, and it's mostly mixed up with stuff from other animated incarnations.

Well, I get most of my fix from a blog called EquestriaDaily.com

, but until fairly recently, I think, he had a more limited range of 'acceptable material', which means that there's a lot of good stuff out there that doesn't make it in, like that 'The Rocky Road', which I think was posted a few pages back here, but it might have been in the yack fest forum.

Why not Ponibooru? I don't know if they have NSFW adds, but they do mark questionable and explicit pictures as such. The thumbnails for such pictures are even obscured.

It's abundantly apparent that Friendship is Magic is super popular. Did any of the olde shows have anything close to this level of popularity? Obviously there was no internet at the time of G1 but it ws around the same era as Transformers and Thundercats and people have no problem talking aout that stuff. Also, did My Little Pony Tales or the G3 sries of movies even have any villians?

All I remember from the older shows was the musical, I'm not sure what was its name. But I can tell you it barely had plot, in fact, I think there were around 22 songs, all of them compressed in a single hour. I may be wrong though, since I'm not even sure if it was really related to MLP or not.
