@Crowlover:Yeah. I was pretty disappointed in it, but Amon at the end was really awesome. It's too bad Tarlok never got another fight though.

I don't care about actors.

Unless the actor is noticeably bad then I care more about the character they play.

I think Lin is plenty interesting. Not because of what colin's saying though. I think the whole "out of the law" thing is a bit interesting, but not that great. I like her because she's calm almost all the time. I like characters who can act calm like that. She also has the connection with Toph going. Earthbending is also my favorite of the four, so that gives her some points. It's one of the reasons I like Bolin, too.

I personally liked Tarrlok more than Amon, but Amon's up there on the list.

@Ginger: Yeah, that was incredibly cool, and Amon continues to be the best thing about the show... but I'm sad it had to happen at the expense of losing Tarlok as a villain.

@Moe: Hey, I like superhero comics! They're not all like that! Just, for the love of god, stay away from Frank Miller.

I love how his "revolution" parallels some stuff that was going on at the beginning of last century. The Red Scare is Older Than They Think.

@condottiera - Eh, to be honest its one of my problems with western media in general (oh god this is gonna rekindle the "anime vs everything else" argument isn't it?). It seems like ever since the 2000s western writers are obsessed with trying to make certain characters completely awesome and badass. It even happened to Doctor Who, which is one reason I prefer the classic series to the new one.

Granted, I've seen anime that was bad about it too... maybe its just a new millennium thing.
