How did they ever lock the trope page of Lolita?

Yeah, a Let's Play is basically a playthrough of the game, with commentary. Started on Something Awful.

Then when they popped up everywhere on Youtube and a lot of them were terrible, the same folks on Something Awful started "Retsupurae, " which is basically an MST3K treatment of bad Let's Plays.

Also, I just purchased Planescape: Torment and it is downloading right now.

@con Yes, I liked both Avatar shows. They both annoyed me in different ways though.

ATLA: Lackluster villains until Azula and Long Feng. Me getting tired of Iroh after a while, and me not caring about Zuko.

ATLOK: The romance/shipping

Since I have a chance, I'll ask.

@Raydence If you're still there, what's it like being Surprise's pet?

Hello Miss Cheerilee. I've been meanin' to speak to you. It seems Applebloom's been skippin' out on class a lot lately, and I wanted to know why I got wind of it through the grapevine instead of from you ponies at the school.

@ Moe: Not after what she did to my orchard last time. We lost an entire apple crop!

@ginger: Yeah, my older sister is pretty into shipping. I stay out of the Korra forum out of fear of it.

But seriously, why is this even an issue? Mako is a prissy two-timing jerk, and Bolin is so nice to her. Obvious choice, but hey, I don't care.

Hey, how come they can access our reality's internet but we can't get on theirs?

They don't really have much in the way of internet. It's more or less a strictly-Humania invention.

The ponies have magic scrolls, so they don't need email.

Also, what's Fatal Fury?

FREAKING AWESOME!

You know how in the mid-1990s, Capcom's Street Fighter II was all the rage? Well basically, Fatal Fury was SNK's answer to that, but it was better in just about every way. More interesting combat system, a more unique cast of characters, the games actually had a plot...

It had three anime adaptations, two being TV specials and the third being a theatrical movie, and its one of the best anime adaptations of a video game out there.

I mean don't get me wrong, I love Street Fighter II, but it just seems generic next to Fatal Fury.

Ha ha... "Humania."

I dread stepping into the Korra shipping thread.

That they decided it needed its own thread is rather unsettling.

The fact that anyone (including the showrunners) cares pisses me off.

I don't even LIKE whatshername. She's so BORING

I told my sister that they needed a separate shipping thread over here, and she thought it was hilarious.

Then I spent about 20 minutes trying to explain what TV Tropes is to her again. Man, why is this place so hard to explain?

@ginger: What, Korra? She's AWESOME! It angers me that she cares, because she should be too good for that! Not boring!

I know what you mean. I can't quite seem to define what a trope is to anyone actually.

Admittedly I never got to play the Fatal Fury games until last year. I barely went to arcades as a kid so I missed a lot of good stuff. Thankfully, almost the entire series has been released on the PS2 in the "Fatal Fury Battle Archives."

And all the anime is on DVD in Region 1 and Region 2.

I totally thought she was going to pull a Crossroads Zuko at the end of The Aftermath for a few seconds before she cemented her loyalties.

Ginger means Asami. While I disagree, she's definitely more interesting than Mako. I still don't see how the romance is that annoying, but I know how you get with these things.

Raydence again. Actually, I'm not sure how to describe it. I've been her "pet" for so long I've just gotten used to it. She's not abusive or anything. Sometimes she's more like a big sister than an owner.
