Anime and WA are simply to different mediums in which to tell a story, stop acting like one is better then the other. it' all your OPINION on which you prefer. It's like trying to compare a sitcom to a police drama and say one is inherently better. YMMV

I agree with Kegi on the Am Drag art style. Who the heck thought that art shift was a good idea?

Gargoyles werent really Deamons... and yes they grew up in time of Bloody warfare but they were protectors and guardians, not DPS warriors.

It wouldn't matter. Battle is battle, war is war. Granted there are differences between defense and attack, but the pure physical and visceral experience tends to impart similar lessons either way.

Plus you got guys in a Dark ages mindset dropped into the modern world.. where even basic stuff to us is Magic to them...

There would be momentary disorientation, yes. But the minute you fire a shot at them, adrenaline kicks in and survival instinct takes over. Also, they come from a world that actually has magic—it wouldn't take them long to think "oh this gun thing is just a new version of a Staff of Fireballs" and plan accordingly.

The Gargoyles, simply, would not have been as confused, put off or as threatened as Disney's writers would lead you to believe. Technology does not inherently make you superior to people who have training and (often life-or-death) experience on their side.

I'm not trying to say one is better. I'm just trying to explain why (in my opinion, I'll admit) Gargoyles and Batman aren't (to me) examples of good writing.

I didn't enjoy the shift, then I just got used to it.

Crap, forgot how that show ended.

@Chada With the Dark Dragon being locked away in an ancient temple for 1000 years. Dad finds out about his children being dragons, and Rose and Jake hook up (I think)

Uh...

So changing the subject somewhat to something kind of awesome: A friend of mine's game, Dawn of Cimmeria was being shown off at E3 this year, and he just told me there's a possibility it's getting picked up to be funded!

Of course it's a bit of an issue for me, since if it gets picked up it means he likely won't be moving in with us when he said he would and we'd be down another person for rent when our fourth guy already backed out, but it's awesome for him! Go download the game, it's actually pretty fun(Though a few bits are broken at the last build I played. Like 2/4 levels...)

Real Time Strategy. It's like Age of Empires.

Except it's also part tower defense. It's a sort of blended genre thing. It's cool.

Exactly, in fact!

At least, I think. Historical Cimmeria is a lost empire, about the region where Ukrain exists now. The game is heavily based off of their myhtology about how man used to exist in a world of darkness before they found a place of light.

The only RTS I'm any good at is Warcraft II. I can't even beat the campaigns in Starcraft and Command and Conquer.

Then again, I don't play enough RT Ses. Lately they're just not my thing.

Hey Ginger, did you look into any of the things I've recommended to you?

It looks cool, but having to scroll down and click next page all the time is annoying. Do you know anyway to get a more convienent format?
