And all of your cpomplaints read like Complaining about Shows You Don't Watch due to them being either only takeling the most superficial things, or completely removing any context. You can say stuff to make ANY show sound bad if you choose the right words.
That's not what I'm doing. a "Superficial" thing would be like if I said "it's a kids show" or "its by Disney." When you start talking about whether a certain element is executed believably or how/why things would or should happen, that's not superficial—that's getting into the nitty-gritty of things.
and guess what, that is EXACTLY how it happens in the show.
Is it? I don't remember that. In any case, certainly the Pack weren't worth having an entire episode to introduce them, and the show continues to treat them like characters you should take seriously. That's one problem I have with "Dark"
Western Animation—EVERYTHING is serious, even if its actually kind of silly.
I mean don't get me wrong,
Gargoyles had its moments (I'd rank the
Five Part Pilot up there with most of Disney's theatrical movies), but on the whole its not really "great" writing except when compared to other cartoons (and honestly, I'd rather watch FIM ;))
