Or, you know, a lack of an AC unit. As is my case at the moment.

You can get by by opening your windows at night and keeping them closed and covered during the day, though it'll take a while for the temperature to adjust fully.

I'm compilin' the recommendations right now. It might take awhile.

You could speed things up by using a scripting language that doesn't require compilation.

I don't have AC in my flat, but I have some pretty boss fans.

Heh. I just played a bit of Half-Life 2. Great game. I should play through the whole thing again sometime.

Sure, the vehicle bits are a bit of a drag, but...

I've heard that it's really hard to keep the gnome in the car with you.

I noticed. I'll have to give that achievement a try sometime. When I last left off I was *at* that point with the gnome, and, well...

I actually don't think the vehicle bits are that bad. Basically the deal is Valve uses them to connect these setpieces, these houses that have a puzzle or two in them, and I think they're really neat. I always like the Lambda caches.

Yeah, I actually feel that the airboat section was really great and intense at times, especially when you had to keep moving to not die while shooting rockets out of the air. The car parts of Episode 2 weren't quite as good, but they set up the first few Hunter fights perfectly, and those were glorious.

The Airboat has one of my personal favorite bosses in video games

I'm not sure what my favorite boss fight is, but some of the fights in Hydorah are pretty intense.

last ponies for the night. Hearts and Hooves Day.

that's...actually a rather impressive effort.

oh jeez, a matchmaker episode.

wow, in a single song number, we've seen as many male ponies as the rest of the show combined.

big mac and cheerilee? well, I'm in favor of anything that gets big mac more screen time.

hey, isn't that the same book about nightmare moon twi was reading in the first episode? Or was it the elements of harmony book form the second episode? one of those.

an interesting recipe.

ok, now how will this backfire? Gah! Big Mac said more than 1 word at a time!

and that's what you get for not reading the fine print!

quick, somepony grab some blinders!

yep, earth ponies confirmed for strongest ponies.

Ha, those two are such jokers. not a bad episode, considering I don't tend to care for matchmaker plots.

Bless Mac, but every time he opened his mouth in that episode I really really wanted to punch him.

I think that was the point. It bothered every single pony he met that day, too.

Why? What did Mac do that offended you?

Also, is the Ginger-man still here or did he head to bed?

[up]Same. I don't begrudge people for having the same reaction as the other characters, though. That is also an appropriate response. tongue

I've never been fond of cringe comedy.

But the fact that everypony in earshot agreed was funny.

Steve, you might want to talk to Rarity about that.

Why did that immediately make me think of Soon I Will Be Invincible?

I've never even read that book!
