@Bad she didn't intend for that to happen though, and if FS wasn't there then she could've gotten her friends (and possibly herself) killed.

Hindsight does not excuse stupid actions (imo anyway)

@Ginger I'm not talking about whole episodes here, but isolated incidents. For example, in SOME, she reacted quickly and got Fluttershy into action to save Spike and Rarity when they were falling. You can't discount her Weather Team leadership either just because "oh, she's good at it, of course she's the leader." That's not how it works. You don't get put in charge of something unless you are capable of leading it. I could be the best football player in the world, but if I couldn't lead my team, I would never be made captain.

@ Ginger: Or did she? Of everyone there she'd be most likely to know about the Stare, she is Fluttershy's oldest friend after all, a recurring theme for her is to try and increase Fluttershy's confidence and what better way than getting her to literally conquering her biggest fear?

Incredibly unlikely I know, but has a sliver of possibility.

@Lurker I know, I thought you were refering to times when she mobilised the entire mane cast and lead them (which, as I said, I think has only happened in TLR so far).

As far as leadership goes, Twilight is much better at planning things, but RD is a lot quicker to react to unexpected developments. AJ probably falls somewhere in the middle.

Yeah, Twilight can make plans, but she can't adjust them. Last time she tried that, she defaulted to "build an identical replica of Ponyville in a few minutes."

@Syd I'd actually call the most forgettable episode of this season "It's About Time"
