I kinda like how they try to make you think for a second at the beginning that she might really get her cutie mark this episode, and then you're like, aw, it was a fake out. Too much of that stuff can get annoying, though.
@crow: What the heck is up with that image?
Needs more Scoots time in Season Three :3
MMDW seemed to be starting off as a Scootaloo episode, given how the story fared with many after that, maybe that would have been a better direction.
Season 2 was very formulaic.
I don't think so. It had more subversions then season 1.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
I want Scootaloo to be the first to get hers.
Element of Dullness.

Confounded modern Internalnet doohicky. In the old days, if we wanted to talk to someone far away we sent 'em a letter!
@condo That's Princess Langwidere. She has 30 heads and changes between them whenever she feels like it.
@Kyler, Really, How many CMC eps this season were about their cutie marks?
half of them... maybe a bit less
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
I also keep in mind that (gasp!) I'm not the target demographic. The younger viewers are prolly sposed to identify with the CMC more or something.
They spent to long on AB show off scene, not enough on the actual disease
That and it's also basically just a retread of Bridle Gossip.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
If anything Scoots has LOST a bit of her personality
I REALLY want her to have an ep
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
@ Ginger, 2 Ponyville confidential and Cutie Pox.
Family Appreciation Day and Hearts and Hooves Day never mentioned a cutie mark.
