The Mayor seemed to have an ambitious side hinted in The Last Roundup. That could work well into a story.

@ginger: What would you feel about a Villain Protagonist episode, or at least a Jerk Protagonist episode? Maybe one with Diamond Tiara or something.

Another good South Park potential equivelent would be Crippled Summer. A bully tries to ruin the good guys image but only causes endless pain and humilation for themselves.

I'm glad you're enjoying it so far Ginger. I've always felt that even with the exposition given at the beginning of the film, it remained too insular in catering to its fanbase. It seems you're proving me wrong.

An ep split into segments which shows what all of the jerk characters did after their episodes ended.

A segment for Trixie, a segment for Gilda, a segment for DT, A segment for the Flim Flams, A segment for the Diamond Dogs

A villain episode of MLP would be pretty awesome as long as you used those that constituted an actual threat. Like I mentioned before, I'd love to see a Windigo/Changeling alliance.

@Psi No, I think the ep should be all about giving us perspective on why these characters are all acting the way they are, personally (shrug)

They could all be together playing cards or something though while they tell their stories like that one episode of Batman TAS

Wait, that's it. The ep would show us what those eps were like from the ANTAGONISTS' points of view, and the sequence of events would be altered to fit thir telling of the story

@The Freeman: Good night.

I tend to like bumbling Villain Protagonists so long as the heroes are still sympathetic (exception may be Wile E Coyote, if only because the setup of his shorts is so simple). I don't like villains that are so pathetic the heroes look one note and unlikeable in defeating them.

Since FIM has already developed the heroes fine there is no problem with that for just one episode. Plankton is a good example of this setup (par maybe the occasions Krabs is too much of a Jerkass).

@ginger: Do ponies have a Bad Guy Bar to talk about their past defeats?
