Ponyville Confidential wasn't really about Cutie Marks either, other than being the catalyst for starting the plot.

For some reason the Mayor seems like the pony equivelant of that in South Park. I can even see her with the exact same mannerisms and even quoting her.

"This is an outrage, get me the Mayor...I know I'm the Mayor, I was being ironic."

An episode of her would likely revolve a similar concept, her trying to make some publicity stunt for her town.

I'm hoping for something involving RD, if only because I want them to interact with the mane cast more.

Basically, my issue with the CMC is that they're too much of a unit. There's not enough tension within the group; most of their interactions are "what should we do?" "how about this?" "Cutie Mark Crusaders (action) YAY!" There needs to be an episode where like Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo get annoyed with Apple Bloom or something.

I would argue that those respective episodes weren't about the CMC at all. They weren't CMC episodes. Sisterhooves Social was a Sweetie Belle and Rarity episode, with Apple Bloom and Applejack on the side. Family Appreciation Day was about Apple Bloom, with the other two just tagging along as partners-in-crime.

What about an ep where another group of fillies with no marks decide to form their own CMC-esque group and the two get into a friendly competition to see who can get their marks first. When the new group wins some of the CMC members start to think that maybe they're all holding each other back and split up

Wow, I've kinda worked myself up into a fangirl frenzy worrying that Daring Do will never come back because she doesn't really need too. I kinda think that any attempt to bring her back, while I pray it would be awesome, would just fall flat.

The only time she's had any characterization at all was in The Last Roundup. And it would be a great opportunity for some world building too.

It would be intreasting to see an episode focusing on the Mayor. It would also be nice if we could meet the retrospective parents of RD, Fluttershy and Scootaloo {One of the few ways I would tolerate another CMC episode was if we got to know more about Scootaloo's family, along with their episodes being diffrent then what we've got so far}.

Seriously, untill we meet their parents, I'm just gonna assume that RD, Fluttershy and Scoots are all orphans for some conicidential reason.
