I'd rather see them overcome it themselves, but yeah, it will probably be Twilight who gets them over it. Which actually makes a good counterpoint to the pilot. They all taught her about friendship, and now she gets them over their corrupted states.

Perhaps even better, Twilight will use the various lessons she wrote down in her letters from last season.

Actually, that makes me wonder... think we're gonna get An Aesop at the end of the next episode? Or they'll keep doing the letters-about-friendship thing for this Season?

Even if they will not do this after Discord that would not work. But after this maybe, it depend if Hasbro still whant that kind of lessons at the end.

And idea about using every sigle lesson form s1 is perferct, it would summarisate first season.

Given that this was supposed to be the season finale of S1, that would actually be quite cool - and just the appropriate amount of heartwarmingly cheesy. =)

Well not every single lesson, we only have 22 minutes to get the band back together and defeat Discord after all (he's getting defeated at the end of the episode regardless if he's a recurring villain or not). I was just thinking the Aesops from the episodes the focused on specific characters like "Applebuck Season" and "Party of One"

Party of One could actually fit, since Pinkie is again doubting whether her friends like her. For others, it might depend on whether their character focus episode had anything to do with whatever curse Discord placed on them.

The problem with bringing back a bunch of the lessons from last season is that, with the possible exception of Pinkie Pie, they don't really apply to their current situation. There was never an aesop about lying or not being a bitch.
