If I was gonna predict what's gonna happen in Part 2, I'd go with...

Prediction 1 - It turns out Discord is actually a servant of Celestia and the whole thing was set up to test Twilight Sparkle.

Prediction 2 - It's all just a dream.

Prediction 3 - Twilight, having lost all her friends, decides to start getting cozy with Discord. But then she becomes determined to beat him again when she finds out he's been cheating on her with Pinkie Pie!

Prediction 4 - Twilight almost gives up, but then changes her mind because... let's just say it ends up becoming a Twilight/Pinkie clopfic.

Prediction 5 - Spike finds out about what happened and takes his rightful place as "most competent character in all of ponydom" (possibly with a little help from Owlolicious) to pick up where the girls left off. Since there's no possible way to corrupt Spike, Discord loses.

Prediction 6 - Luna saves them all by making a terrible sacrifice and once again accepting the power of Nightmare Moon, the one force that Discord can not defeat for the night has been around longer than harmony and discord have. (Maybe not, but personally even though I don't like the "villain" episodes I honestly thought Nightmare Moon was a lot more interesting than Discord).

Prediction 7 - In a shocking reveal, the show gets canceled before the next episode can air.

Those are my (half baked, tongue-in-cheek) predictions!

And Dis Qord balloon are creepy, especially Dishead balloon.

But most scary balloons are in Bylly's Balloon short. What some part of that Pinkie scene remind be of this.

So... what do you think the odds are that Luna will appear in part 2?

I'd actually say there's about a 45% chance myself

80% chance.

That must hapen. Lauren even said that she will reappear and later confirm that not in s1 but later. She must had those episodes in mind.

A few things:

- Holy horseapples, that was awesome.

- Luna returns from a wilderness retreat meditation thingy which she has been on for most of last season. Finding Canterlot under the control of Discord, she goes to Ponyville. After meeting Spike and/or other ponies, cue Big Damn Heroes moment.

- Rarity's deception moment didn't really seem that out of character. She did try to steal treasure from the dragon in "Dragonshy"

- Applejack's vision is real. Discord just picked some random event concerning the Mane 6. He accidently showed them looking for the Elements of Harmony, although this might not work because of the scene where they enter the maze.

Regarding Rarity: She treads a VERY fine line between being greedy and being generous, even at the best of times. Her already apparent flaws probably made her the easiest for Discord to manipulate.

She seems to jump that line pretty often, seeing as how she made her friends dresses for free but is still capable of greed.

She wants gems, but she doesn't want them to hoard them. She wants them to make pretty dresses.

That's a diminishing factor.

The CMC's essays on Discord will become a plot point.

Luna won't appear in Episode 2, Derpy will be called Ditzy and will only get one or two lines, the CMC get six episodes of the season for themselves (where they will act like in the Episode 1 opening) and Big Mac won't appear once in the whole season.

Of them all, Apllejack seems the one to be most actively fighting her hypnosis.

The way her eyes shift and she bites her lip when she lies.

Either that or her dishonest version is just being afraid someone will catch her lying.

Rarity is not greedy, she is obssesed with pretty things, most time jewels.

The shifty eyes and biting her lip are a mere tell since Applejack is a bad liar clearly, I mean the shifty eyes happened when she lied to Pinkie in Party of One. An episode I need to see again, excuse me a moment...

If the CMC eps were done well then I wouldn't mind in the slightest. I WANT those 3 to become better characters since I love them, but they're inevitably falling into the realm of scrappydom
