Personally, I've always preferred Buster Keaton and Laurel and Hardy to Chaplin. Our Hospitality is one of the best comedy films ever made.

@con Characterization is a far second to him compared to actual role in the story. They have to be in the antagonist role for him to like them, with very few exceptions. I don't understand it either.
