@Seraphem

Oh, I read it. I read all of it.

I am never doing that again.

@Kyler I have one, and be glad you don't.

Watchmen might also be worth a shot if you haven't read it already.

@con Yup. With the sole exception of House (and even then I mostly like the episodes where he's having a Battle of Wits with Wilson) I dislike quirky detective types unless they have an equally brilliant mind to bounce off of and to CHALLENGE him.

I INFINITELY prefer Mycroft and Moriarty to Sherlock

An... odd thing to mention, Kyler. why?
The mention of "adopted sister", and my family being full of men. And boys. And a mom.
Am I hurting? Am I sad? Should I stay or should I go?
I've forgotten how to tell. Did I ever even know?

But you can't have as much fun hating Mycroft as you can have hating Sherlock. He's so mean!

@kegi L is technically an antagonist. wink

Forgot to mention that.

[up] I don't hate Sherlock. I don't fuckng CARE about Sherlock

I don't like excessive exploration. It bores me.

Actually, Cave Story is fairly linear. You can go back and visit previously explored areas at some points, but there's rarely any reason to do so.

Hero Antagonist, right, g? I like Rooting for the Empire as much as the next guy, but sometimes the main character is just fun on his own.

Also, have you ever checked out My Life as a Teenage Robot?

[up][up] I like that he gets character development. Like, he's still a complete Jerkass, but the way he sticks up for Mrs. Hudson out of nowhere and how he said he didn't have friends, just one? It's funny.

I tried to tell him that, but I think he gave up after having to search for the locket in the Mimiga Village.

Hello condiettra, or can I call you Connie now? waii

Well, it seems that in the time it takes me to watch a Nostalgia Critic video, the thread jumps by three pages. Interesting.

Hello Kegi, I believe I have not greeted you yet?

@ Ginger: I recommend Korra. Amon is freaking scary. Although I have a feeling the shipping will drive you insane. It's close to driving me insane. Anyway, thread with caution.

@con Not me.

In fact. MLP is a rare exception. I don't care for most shows unless they have an entertaining and competent antagonist.

Main characters are almost never EVER my favourite characters. Nowhere CLOSE.

Well, this is depressing.

Anyway, I'm gonna go play Kid Icarus. Bye everyone.

@ilse: I like the name Connie! Like the pizza! It's a nickname for Constance, which is also the name of the Monster House.

@Ils: Hello! I don't believe you have yet, no. I only really hopped on a few minutes ago.

Also, I don't find the shipping THAT bad. But Amon is terrifyingly awesome, yeah.

And Ginger, I'm going to recommend The Cape again, since you seemed to miss it.

My favourite character was Kirby. Mostly because he was one of the few characters I had prior experience with.

My favorite is Kirby because it's the only character that I know even a few of the controls for.

and yet you like MLP, which means you CAN like them under the right circumstances, so give a few a try now and then, you might be surprised.

and yes firefly/Serenity is amazing. not many big villians in firefly, but what there is is great, and the crew is awesome, and you'll love The Operative from Serenity.

Fluttershy leaves at some random point the first time she joins, you can't stop that.

Fluttershy must be Spathi.

I feel like everything like Firefly that I like will be or has been recommended by someone else, and all I can think of is cartoons. I know not everybody here likes a lot of children's shows outside of MLP, but I'm not a grown-up yet, so I'm still into that stuff.

@kegi Chess isn't listed as a Chessmaster, MB, OR a Magnificent Bastard.

@Seraph Yes, there are rare exceptions. MLP hooked me because of it's novelty. It's what kept me watching. Now my anchor has switched to the fandom.

I need an ANCHOR. One way or another, I need something that'll drag me through the parts that I find boring.
