Ginger I'm still going to recommend you read Chasm City, because I believe it'd be up your alley. It has highly competent villains as well as competent protagonists and the protagonists are often left reeling.

You know me. Ozai was lame as fuck. And the only way they could think to defeat Azula was by having her go absolutely insane and incompetent then "Slip" as Zuko said.

Hey, don't feel bad. I didn't like the finale either. Though my biggest complaint was the massive Broken Aesop and Dues Ex Machina ending.
