The only villain that can even get close to matching up with Discord is Nightmare Moon, and even she pales in comparison
Discord steals the Elements of Harmony, steals the ponies' wings and horns and hypnotizes them into going against each other. Nightmare Moon had harmless trees with scary faces on them
