Applejack probably thought that telling anypony about what she saw would probably bring strife to the group which she couldn't afford during this mission. Rainbow Dash was under the impression that hundreds of ponies would die if she didn't take action. Makes sense.

RD wasn't even really corrupted, she's just being loyal to the wrong group at the moment.

Also, I really hope Celestia spent the episode working on a backup plan and not loafing around the castle sending Luna out for Twizzlers. Seriously, what the crap.

How is it that Twilight didn't notice that all her friend's colors were suddenly muted. She's facing an enemy that can remove body parts at will, and when she finds her friends acting strange and suddenly a different color she chalks it up to stress?

Pinkie was laughed into catatonia, she didn't believe him as such.
Rarity was overcome by greed
Fluttershy had to be manually corrupted
RD was shown a horrific vision, she was just being impulsive

There are some dark moments in Season 1 for sure, but Season 2... wow, if season 2's even half of this, I think we're in for a ride.

Already watched it. The few worries that I had about Discord were completely dispelled. He's hilarious and kinda freaky at the same time. The whole stained-glass window sequence was amazing, especially when he started dancing on Twilight's head.
