You know, I've been thinking... how long before Friendship Is Magic becomes the Trope Namer for something? I know the G1 pilot episode "Rescue From Midnight Castle" is the Trope Namer for The Night That Never Ends, but what tropes would our ponies name?

Given Harry Potter's massively wick-overblown status, if there IS a trope for that, it'll be listed under the boggart, you're right.

I think the main difference is that Care Bear Stare is an attack, whereas this just sort of disables the thing; more of a defensive measure.

I really want to see Pinkie's sisters grown up, just to see what they're like and find out once and for all whether or not Octavia is Inky.

I know the answer is "No, they're not the same pony", but the idea of Octavia being Pinkie's sister amuses me to no end.

Also, I was going to try and be productive this weekend, but I spent it all on TV Tropes and ponies. Confound these ponies AND TVTropes! They ruin my life!

Took another shot at Akinator. I had to introduce Hoyden to him, but he got Princess Molestia on his first guess. Doesn't look like he separates Pinkie from Pinkamena, though.

We're forgetting something: Was that even her real family? Pinkie's a pretty Unreliable Narrator, she might have made the whole thing up (possibly to hide an even worse childhood)

I think we can agree that Pinkie heard/saw the sonic rainboom in the past. I think she mentioned the sonic rainboom again after Rainbowdash gave her cutie mark story.

I think it's a good origin story for her, it was just a thought given her unreliable personality.

also: Is it me or was RD's first sonic rainboom a LOT more destructive than her second one?
