@Rich: There's some canon basis for the idea that Derpy/Ditzy isn't all there; I mean, the closest name we have to canon is "Ditzy", and that carries it's own set of connotations. I don't think that she's retarded, or an idiot, but it isn't unfair to assume that she's at least a bit odd.
Even if the rest of season 2 sucks, that would make up for it.

For me it's either Twilight or AJ, probably AJ cuz I'd just love to hear that accent of hers in person.

I'd probably say Twilight; we'd probably get along better then the rest of the cast. I have pretty much zero in common with Applejack or Rarity, Fluttershy is so shy that it would just be weird, and as much as I like Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie, I think that if I had to put up with them for an extended period in real life, they'd drive me nuts.
