To be fair to the dragons. They weren't evil just being stupid. If they were really evil or even mean they wouldn't have let Spike take part in all of the tests or been so happy when he did one of them well. They would've just made fun of him the entire time.

Yeah, with the amount of teleporting she does combined with the fact that it's part of her special talent, it would almost be worse if she didn't improve a little.

It is interesting to note that Ponies do know about the Dragon migration, and then almost nothing else. You would think some of the more adventurous ponies would have tried to observe them in someway?

I think it is more appropriate to say that Dragons are Always Chaotic Neutral. Admittedly that is still not much better though.

Cutiemark Chronicles pretty much showed that Twi was born with the magical potential in her. All she's been lacking thus far is control and she's been studying all her life to gain that.

My headcanon is that as she studies a seal set on her magic by Celestia (when she stopped the magic overflow) slowly weakens. :B

What's the worst that could happen anyways?

Yeah, Twilight's impressive magic skills only ever come into play once, and it's just teleporting, something that she has been actively working on.

Oh yeah, it actually takes her two tries to pull off the mass teleport. That was a nice touch.
