Dragons migrate so that the adults can mate, and the teenagers can get it through their thick skulls how tough they aren't. You know it's just a matter of time before one of those idiots challenged a fully grown dragon, and then they all get to have some humility knocked into them before they grow big enough to do some real damage.

Okay, I didn’t say this when the preview clip came out, but I just think this whole scene with Spike and Twilight in the library is a bit out of place. I can’t place why. “I wonder if dragons cry?” No Spike, they obviously don’t at all.

I wasn’t expecting Twilight to just let him go like that. Huh. Those are the fakest grins I have ever seen. Ever.

I like nothing about these dragons. Which I guess may have been the point. Tail wrestling doesn’t seem like something that would make sense. Tail strength must be directly related to how much of a dragon one is, I guess. Crackle is still the best dragon.

So I guess Celestia isn’t “all-powerful” or anything then.

I don’t think that dragon would be strong enough to hold up that tail. It must’ve been at least…

Do the dragons just not notice he’s really young compared to them? I’m pretty sure it would be obvious. I’m liking the background music in these dragon scenes, though. And on a side note, that red dragon looks really weird from the front.

Those phoenix chicks are adorable. Rarity continues being the best.

I actually really liked this episode. I wouldn’t put in in my favorites, but it’s definitely the best Spike episode for me. I think it was J Teeth that said he should've interacted more with the ponies? It would've been nice, but I can't really think of anywhere he could've had more scenes with them.

If dragons are mostly solitary, and live for a long time, I would guess that a migration would be for breeding.

Am I the only one who found it funny that Fluttershy more or less refused to appear in the episode?

I don't think it's fair to pass judgment on all the dragons. Spike only met a particular group of them.

I'm just pissed that there wasn't a SINGLE nice dragon.

Rainbow presumably went to the Butterfly migration to be nice. Unlike Fluttershy who refused to take part in Rainbow's interests.

I liked the White and Pink dragon... but I just like pink

one, they weren't evil really.

two the ones we see we're all teenagers and acting like teenagers.

I can imagine some more chill, more tired dragons facepalming when Spike ends up with the frat brigade.

Have you guys noticed that Twilight keeps levelling and gaining more casts for her spells and new better versions of them as the show goes on? She started with able to do a self-teleport a few times. Then she could spam it pretty much as much as she likes. And now she can do multiple mass teleports per day even.

It's pretty awesome and I wonder what's to come. <3

well, the more you practice something, the better you get at it. And it still took her a few tries to actually get a mass teleport going.

@Sera: That's what I mean. She used to be able to barely do a teleport of two in a day and even that ended up with burns.
