only show/movie I can remember actually turning off because it was so bad I couldn't stand watching it anymore was The Cable Guy.

but @ old Ginger post, yeah a concussion would also mess her up a bit.

Also while you were out earlier I had a theory, Celestia was in the library because she knew (through Spike keeping her updated on Twilight freak-outs) what was going on, and knowing that all Equestrian Time Travel is Stable Time Loop only' knew she couldn't do anything to stop either the need for her to go back, or the act itself. But on the chance that it was something major made sure she was on-hoof to help. But once she saw what was going on, decided to have some fun, hence emphasizing "Tuesday".

@ Bag Of Magic Food: It's not so much Twilight's actions as much as they were executed better. Truth be told Twilight going outright insane and manipulating the Cutie Marks into fighting could have been a real Dethroning moment, however it works because it sorta Crosses the Line Twice and makes it all extremely over the top funny; the script, the acting, the animation is all hilarious. It's About Time is more harmless, but done in a much more mundane and unenthusiastic manner, with the gags and execution not really handled as effectively.

I think Twilights freakout in Lesson Zero was too scary to be funny.

Do have to agree that Time just seemed, average. But lets be honest, the crew deserve a break every now and then, not every episode can be the best one ever, every so often an episode just won't live up to the last one. Over all it was entertaining and that's what counts. And like I keep saying, an average FIM episode is still way way better then an average episode of any other show pretty much.

That was it, I found Twi's major Freakout in Lesson Zero too awkward and embarassing, I just couldn't laugh at it.

Plus, I think her reasons for going nuts are a LOT more justified in this ep

Well opinion goes into a lot of it, after all why would half the people here love and the others hate it?

I just thought the more deranged animation and Strong's acting was 'let loose' and felt funnier in Lesson Zero.

I admit her going Slasher Smile Laughing Mad should have felt kinda stupid a concept by normality, but somehow they made it funny. Even before that point where she is just frantic and nervous, she seems funnier (Bad? BAD? Of course it's bad!!! I'll be TARDIEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!).
