Not sure. Actually, I was wondering, are you guys excited, neutral, or unhappy about the possible rumor that Shining Armor is Twilight's brother?

I don't want anyone to argue with each other though, so I am hoping you just say yes, no, or neutral and why instead of telling people they're wrong XD

I was reading the ED comments yesterday on that thread and they were not particularly pretty.

There's gonna' be so many incest fics about them.

I am personally excited to see what the show has to offer. Some people are crying Ruined Forever but I am looking forward to it. It was a shock though ><

Also, I regained my faith when I learned that Lauren Faust was actually involved with the creation of Princess Cadence, but that the design was changed to that of an alicorn later by Hasbro or Studio B. So I'm guessing her original idea/story will stay and just a few design things were changed from the creator's ideals.

@Ilsemmr: I'm neutral as well. It was unexpected, but I don't think that it's a particularly damaging revelation. The only question is what kind of implications it has for Twilight's family.

How so? Candence could still be the love potion princess if you want. There's nothing saying she's not.

My theory is that Cadence is actually the ruler from another land or region. She traveled to Equestria to negotiate with Celestia and Luna. She met Shining Armor sometime around here. I'm guessing he's a royal guard for either Cadence or Celestia. I predict the episode will deal with political intrigue and possibly about marriage ties getting countries to work together (like in Real Life).

Despite how politically beneficial the ties are though, I think Shining Armor and Cadence and in love. But I'm pretty sure there will be a villain somewhere for the episode though. I'm not sure if Discord comes back, but I think it's possible that the "force" that made Nighmare Moon and Discord has something to do with it this time. :3
