ben10 was right though. The CMC really aren't as show stealing as the fandom seems to believe. Most episodes featuring them, they're sharing the spotlight with a mane cast pony

I agree. Though I'm still not really into the CMC

Here's a new topic that I discussed earlier on Equestria Forums: Rarity's singing voice. Is it just me, or does it just sound nothing like Rarity's talking voice? It just sounds too deep and low pitched to sound like Rarity to me (funnily enough though, I actually think her singing voice is my favorite based on the singing by itself)

^^^I do like your CMFIS theory, I must say. The evidence is just vague enough to support it.

Also, this is about the tenth time we've discussed this very issue in the fifty or so pages I've been in this thread.

^^I like the Crusaders. It's partially the fact that little ponies are freaking adorable to begin with, and I like Applebloom's tiny Southern accent.

I love Rarity's singing voice, especially during her part in "At the Gala".

Rarity's singing voice isn't done by her VA though, I think I heard though.

Because "for the lulz" is a perfectly good reason to do something.

^It's not. Both Rarity and Twilight have separate singing voices, but I think they're the only two. I'm ashamed to admit I've never actually noticed the disconnect between any of the cast's speaking and singing voices, which is a compliment to the singers. But that's just me, really.

I thought it was Twilight. I remember it was remarked on earlier in this thread, that only one of the ponies had a different VA for singing.

I thought they all used different singing voices from their normal V As? Weird

Either way, when I heard Rarity's singing voice, my first thought was "Yeah, they used a different VA for her songs"

Pinkie's singing voice is Misa "Freaking" Amane. Isn't Fluttershy's singing voice the same as her talking voice, cuz I swear I heard it slipping into Pinkie's voice during her number in the CMC?

@ Red Savant. I loved Applebloom and Scootaloo's back and forths in the Stare Master, specially the one about an arguin cutie mark.

Twilight sounds a little off, but generally believable

I knew that Applejack and Dash both had the same singer and VA, since they're both voiced by Ashleigh Ball(I think), who's a singer for a band.

I can't really remember how well Twilight compares - I guess we'll figure it out in season two, when her solo song comes along! Eeeeeeh, still really excited for that!

the singing voice stuff is probably on Wikipedia. and I wanted to end this subject but about an earlier comment about Blueblood being spoiled by Celestia, that doesn't sound like Celestia and the fact that she didn't bring up Rarity's payback on him probably means she knew he had that coming.

Andrea Libman does Pinkie and Fluttershy. She actually does sing for Fluttershy but not for Pinkie it seems.

Hm. So I've had a fanfic idea recently. I don't want to talk about the core concept, because I'm pretty sure people would reject it out of hand, but as for the rest, it involves Applejack and Big Mac having to deal with a rival Apple Baron with mob ties.
