@Story: Yeah, I'm curious about what you mean; at least to me, it looks like all the timestamps are simply "time of post in EST". I think they're all just "time of post in whatever time zone you're set to".

But they're not. I already linked to a post with a clearly incorrect time displayed.

The most jarring thing would be the change of gender. Big Mac might not have it so bad if Apple Bloom('s body) is still prepubescent. Apple Bloom, on the other hand, might have a doozy of a time wondering why she's attracted to girls all of a sudden. Older girls, from her perspective. And why they're attracted to her.

I'm still under the headcannon that the "evil force" simply talked Luna into going evil, but never controlled her directly. basically a Sideous/Vadar relationship.

Yeah, Faust and a few others have said that whatever force was behind changing Luna also freed Discord. Still, until we actually hear it in an episode, it's just semi-canon Word of God.

Luna showed Regret and even apologised to twiligt not to mention the first thing she did was to apologse with Celestia that implies regret and regret implies that she was responsable.

I don't think she is 100% innocent nor 100% guilty. I feel we don't knoe yet the full story.

Note that Luna was in charge of the night. What powers would she have that weren't dark? I always took the line as meaning almost all of her powers were taken from her.

My headcanon is that his prison was weakening and their demonstration of Discord was enough to allow him to escape.

the only thing that per any cannon or Word Of God I've seen is that it was simply his prison weaing from Celestia losing touch with the elements.

@Seraph I still don't like that, because even if it was her choice, without this force, Luna wouldn't have turned evil.

I like to think that she just snapped one day. That DOES happen to people when they're suffering

My take on it is either something like what Seraphem said, or else Luna used some sort of power-up magic on herself that had some sort of side effects. There was definitely more to the transformation than "Luna, just bad", but at the same time the corruption was her own fault rather than an external force.
