Rarity is to vain to be effective, Twilight to easily stressed, and AJ would never turn to the dark side of her own free will.

I'd still want Big Mac to end up in Apple Blooms body. It would be hilarious to seem him trying to be all stoic and manly stuck in her body. And Apple Bloom would probably have major Does Not Know His Own Strength issues; constantly breaking things and whatnot.

Also, I don't think Celestia would be a good villain because it would be too hard to defeat her. She fully understands the Elements of Harmony and could easily keep away anyone who wanted to use them.

Theoretically. I'm not sure how well this would work out. The way it's playing out in my head has Luna in the center stage, which I'm not sure is a good idea, and I don't think you'd like it either.

Speaking seriously Celestia would be waay more danegrous than Luna ever was. Luna was bad at being bad

For starters she knows everything about the mane cast thanks to her letters and she is probably smarter and mightier than even twilight and being an alicorn her Psycal strenght may surpass RD and AJ

I'm not underestimating them. Fluttershy would have an animal army at her disposal and might even be able to get some of the Mane 6 to turn.

Okay, sorry I misundertood.

I'd like the idea of bodyswapping Big Macintosh and Apple Bloom too. If I ever did do a fanfic about bodyswapping ponies, those two would be another good pair to do along with the Mane Cast.

Actually, I'd love to see Celestia turn evil becuase the image of Twilight genuinely outsmarting her in order to defeat her is just awesome.

Celestia would be too hard to beat. Okay, I guess I could see it working out like this: Celestia wouldn't even allow anyone to get to the elements of harmony. Only she can access them if you'll recall. I can't see Luna not taking a hugely prominent role, so my guess is that Celestia beats her in a fight and Luna escapes to warn the main cast. I... guess something happens that reveals you don't need the actual crowns and stuff to use the elements of harmony because their powers were in the main cast all along.

...It's not really enough when I look at it. It kind of requires a lot of Orcus on His Throne to work and I don't think Celestia is passive enough for that.

What about Rocky? He was a pretty good villain.
