This is my opinion, but there are definitely characters that you'll be rooting for and want to see come out on top when the war is all said and done. The series's body count may frustrate some of these hopes, but not all of them.
edit: Best page-topper for the pony thread. Can you imagine if this was peoples' first impression upon seeing this thread?

I have a message from another time...
@ Ginger: Rooting for Jon Snow is a safe bet. He's one of the main characters.
Tealove is best pony.

And he's generally away from the war at large.

@Applelight, Mind definitely messed with....
I analyze "Geek Culture" here.
When All Else Fails, worry, that's the 14 way.
Damn, I wanna read A song of Discord and Harmony now.

How about Dissidia, with Celestia/Luna and Discord in place of Cosmos and Chaos?

I kind of suck at first person shooters and every shot I fire is an instant miss...
If you play on easy, it's pretty much impossible to lose. I also suck at FPS but I played through the whole game.
It's pronounced "Te-ah-low-ve"
Have you been to Apollo Square yet, Mousa? Visited the Artemis Suites?
Damn that place...WHATS MAKING THOSE FUCKING NOISESSSSS
Somethin' somethin' somethin'
STACK DAT CHEESE
Ya'll talking about Bioshock? I thought it was amazingly easy on normal mode.
Okay, here's the thing, Do you know WHY I prefer W&G, W&B, and G&B morality? Because there's a definitive person in the wrong! Why do I like knowing that a person is definitely in the wrong? Because then I don't have to worry about who's ultimately right, Nor do I have to worry about who's going to win.
It frees up my mind, and lets me enjoy the characters for who they are, and it lets me enjoy their scheming.

You're on about A Song of Ice and Fire? I can't really contribute much to the conversation regarding those books, but I suppose my favorite series of novels which tends to feature
Grey and Gray Morality is probably
The Book of the New Sun. That might be because in part, I'm fond of unreliable narrators among other things.
Gully Foyle is my name,
and Terra is my nation.
Deep space is my dwelling place,

Ginger, you probably have the narrowest field of interest that I have ever seen. Not because you are alone in your preferences, a lot of people here share your opinions (even though you think otherwise), but because as soon as anything even looks to not pass even one of those preferences, you are immediately turned off and disinterested, regardless of whether or not you have actually tried reading/watching/playing it. I think you will find you enjoy a lot more than you think you do if you were to even try half the things you say you hate without actually trying them. The worst that can happen is that you end up not liking it, then you move on.
I understand you Ginger. That explains why you like MLP pretty well.
Re: Pony Cybersix: Who would you have play the Fixed Ideas? Macintosh would probably be best.
I am a rock; I am an isla...Y'know what? I'm not even gonna go there.
Even rocks have standards.
I've never read nor seen any Cybersix. What's it like?

If you wish to know, you only need to ask.
@Mousa I haven't played Minecraft. I'd be fucking terrible at it

I probably wouldn't like it for the same reason I don't like G Mod. No structure. No set goal.

Fixed Ideas are the big green guys with blonde hair, red eyes and masks; they hunt, torture and kill. Their idea are fixed upon this. Most of the characters are bio-androids:

Huh, that actually looks pretty neat, Nomuru. It's a shame it didn't air here in the US. And as far as I know, none of the comics have been published here either.
