Well, that's not a fair comparison. With Minecraft, the goal aside from survival is to build whatever you wish.
Finally a pagetopper!
EDIT: @Drenius: ... It DID air in the US. It was part of Fox Kids' Saturday morning block for a while!

A sort of survival adventure mode was added with strong monsters, last I recall.

If you wish to know, you only need to ask.
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
And wasn't there some sort of dungeon and boss introduced or something?
I analyze "Geek Culture" here.
When All Else Fails, worry, that's the 14 way.
So it's...Lego...I loved Lego...

I love LEGO too, but I always wished I had more.

That would be the Strongholds and The End. The boss being the Enderdragon.
Yeah, I love Minecraft. But I got seriously bored after a while when my old pc got replaced. Been playing on Steam.

Sigh, I need a cup of tea to lift my angst

@Nomuru:Really? Hm. That's strange that I missed it then, since even then, I still occassionally watched Saturday morning cartoons.

Gully Foyle is my name,
and Terra is my nation.
Deep space is my dwelling place,
and death's my destination.
Just try something for once, Ginger. Seriously, you have no reason not to.
Oh man, I should maybe build glass tunnels underwater.
Or a giant tower pouring water down across an island from a set of water sources on the top.
Or a castle stronghold with a bunch of piston-controlled lava flows for defense.
...Or maybe I should first deal with the fact that I still haven't gotten used to needing to eat to survive. I stopped playing for a while and missed a ton of updates, you see.
I have a message from another time...
Sniff. I don't have any legos anymore. And I only have one Transformer.
I love Lego. I used to have several of the space line back in the 80's and one of the train stations from back then. And the Forestman Hideout.

I loved Lego too. Got three large plastic bins full of the stuff stored away because I don't think I could ever bring myself to get rid of it.
@Lurker. If people gave everything a chance, then marketing has no reason to exist

I was terrible at Lego. I only built houses.

We got a troper server, just so any of you who are interested know. Gotta go PM the guy for the address though, can't post it here.
Granted, haven't seen much traffic lately.
Never did see that Ponyville project....

I still don't have a bow in my current place. I tend to not seek out monsters at all. In fact, in the last world I was in, I mined all the way to bedrock without seeing a single mosnter, due to over-precaution. I'm talkin' carrying doors and beds down with me as far as I can go, and not moving 10 paces without placing a torch.
Indeed, when I get the resources to build a house, the first thing I'm building is a three-block wide moat filled with water and cacti, set over a buncha trap doors. At the start of each day, I'll flip a set of switches to drop all the lingering monsters to their pointy, watery doom.

I have a message from another time...
Is that it? You just build and fend off monsters? forever?
