I built robots and towers. Most of it was boring geometric shapes. Which I guess could account for my uncreative building skills in Minecraft...
Seriously, I made boxes and rectangles most of the time.

It really is just personal questing you make up for your self. Or if you got a party thing going on.

Yeah. You mine, you build, and you survive. Forever, and in
infinite combination.
See, there's a difference between just surviving, and building a TNT-launching doom catapult, or doing your damndest to colonize
Hell The Nether or destroy the Ender Dragon.
And your buildings can be as elaborate and creative as you want. Everything's a block, and blocks can be placed anywhere.
Do you want a skull-fortress that weeps lava flows? Or perhaps a gravity-defying wizard's tower hidden from the world by waterfalls?
Go for it.

And Ginger, there are Pony mods!
I analyze "Geek Culture" here.
When All Else Fails, worry, that's the 14 way.

You see, you never mentioned an endgame. That's what I need. To know thatI'm working towards a PURPOSE!
I ain't creative. If I was, then I'd read more

Wait...you can build moving machines?!!
Tealove is best pony.

I really want Minecraft, but I have yet to convince my parents to buy it. My dad is a security freak, and refuses to use his credit card. I tried using one of those "pay-as-you-go" cards, but Minecraft doesn't accept those.
I can't decide whether you should live or die.
Not an endgame
per se, but as far as I know, the Ender Dragon is the most dangerous and singular enemy in the game, to be sure.
I've got a feeling more "boss" monsters like him may be added later in the game's lifetime.

Sort of... I mean, I think you can probably do just about anything with enough redstone dust and pistons...

Enjoy your discussion about things tangentially related to ponies, guys! I'm off to work.
That's where you and I differ. I need a purpose. One that isn't created by me. I need to know what the fuck I'm doing.

@Ginger What the hell does marketing have to do with anything? Were you drawn to MLP by its excellent marketing campaign? Just about everyone here is here because we tried something we were told to try via word of mouth. I bet quite a few of us went into this show expecting the worst, too. All I'm saying is that trying nothing is infinitely worse than trying everything. And no one is making you try everything, just a few things we're reccomending as friends.
@ Apple and Mousa: Redstone circuitry,
as seen here
I never learned how to do any of it, so I don't know much about it. I always assumed its some complicated stuff...

I suppose you wouldn't much like
Animal Crossing then.
Though one thing I like about Minecraft in comparison to
Animal Crossing is that the game is never truly "complete". In
Animal Crossing, there's not much you can do once you get your hands on every item and fill out the Museum. In Minecraft, you can always build a new tower, blow up a mountain, or fight a buncha monsters.

Or you could do Creative Mode. Endless supply of building materials, safety from monsters, being able to fly...
Yeah...there's no killer robots Apple. Sorry.
Closest thing to that are
snow golems
, which melt in anywhere else that isn't an arctic biome.
