Dangit!! I'm no good with
Grey and Gray Morality. My sympathies always end up getting divided and I'm left with no desire to root for anyone

@Blue In
Code Geass there's a definite side that I sympathize with more than the other (the britannians)
The problem with most G&G moralities for me is that I
end up not caring for anyone

But that's sorta what happens, but since I care for everyone, I also don't want to see conflict, nor do I want to see anyone win because I don't want to see the other side lose. I gain no satisfaction from it, which leads to me not caring
It's why I stopped reading Negima!

Yay, I killed the thread

@Arha I have no problem with sympathetic antagonists (duh), but I still want them to be in the wrong.
for me, it's more interesting to have a character who's wrong and sympathetic, than it is to have loads of characters who are sympathetic and ARGUABLY in the wrong.

On
Grey and Grey Morality, I think it makes for an interesting story if the lines between hero and villain aren't entirely clear-cut. It makes it possible to root for a number of different people, and tives you the opportunity to see things from the perspective of characters who intially would seem to be the villain.
Thing is, though, there
are people in ASOIAF that try to be genuinely heroic.
They tend to get killed.
I have a message from another time...
