Given the way it looked, I bet the Bog is counted on the outskirts of the Forest. So it's safe enough and ponies go there often enough that it's really, really unusual to see something like a Hydra there.
I mean, 'Froggy Bottom Bog' is not an intimidating name, so the ponies who named it can't find it that scary.
Can you think inside the chimney?
Everfree Forest doesn't sound particularly nasty though either
Unless I'm missing something

Yeah I've...had
Av P on my mind for awhile. Got like 50 hours logged in the 2010 game.
Hell, I'm playing right now.

I wonder if everfree forest has native wild ponies

Please, no. As if we actually need our story to be of pony sacrifice/murder and zombies. Though I will admit
Sot B was pretty neat.
Gully Foyle is my name,
and Terra is my nation.
Deep space is my dwelling place,
and death's my destination.
So, I'm up to Fall Weather Friends. According to you all, I will apparently think RD is a jerk and that AJ is completely in the right? Well, that's fine. I like AJ.
Yeah, Dash is fairly jerkish in that episode. Aside from that, mum's the word.

Please don't start up the argument again. That's all I'm saying

Neutral is a good stance to take.
Tealove is best pony.

Ugh, if we did everything just because it wasn't technically against the rules, then no one in the entire world would be any better than those sneaky underhanded asshole businessmen
None of those events were meant to test her wing skills (dammit, I can't help myself)

My stance is that Rainbow was cheating, but Applejack should have called her on it when if first came up. Waiting till the very end just makes her look a bit like a sore loser. So they both screwed up the competition.
@Crow That's just it, Crow. She WASN'T cheating, because it wasn't TECHNICALLY against any of the rules.
It's still a fucking POOR display of sportsmanship though, and she goes against the very point of most of those events.

She trusted Rainbow to come to her senses and stop by herself. In that situation she had TOO MUCH faith in her friends
RD clearly knew that she shouldn't use her wings, otherwise she would've been using them from the start

Shrug, so you say, but AJ still should have said not to do it again. If there is no declaration of a handicap, when someone doesn't do it to themselves it should be pointed out upon first use.
On a different note, I have to pity Spike a little for having to put up with announcer Pinkie Pie. Pinkie is okay but he's just so confused.
