@Mousa: Thanks, always nice to hear that my amateur efforts are better than a pseudo-professional thing. Although it's kinda like comparing apples and oranges as that's a video review, which I would suck at.

Anyway, my whole take on the AJ/RD thing is that while RD wasn't technically cheating because there Ain't No Rule, at the same time AJ wasn't exactly wrong to assume that the contests would be limited to things that both ponies were capable of. The main issue is that the whole contest was flawed; they should have based the whole thing off of contests that didn't favor either pony. Assuming that it's even possible to have an evenly balanced contest between a Pegasus and and Earth Pony in the first place.

TL;DR they both had decent points and should have thought the contest out better before starting it.

How can Nightmare Moon be the big bad of season one? She's 'beaten' in the second episode and has no apparent further role. Why is the mayor listed with Grandma, What Massive Hotness You Have? She's a pony. Is she even older than anyone else?

You know, I was originally adamantly against Hearts and Hooves day but now I'm getting excited for it becuase it'll mean characterization for Big Macintosh and Cheerilee, two side characters I'm sure many have wanted at least a little more screen time from. while them being the focus of an episode is a bit too much of a stretch, we'll be getting something at least.

And while I'll absolutely hate them for it, I will be 100% impressed if they can get through that entire episode with Big Macintosh speaking no more than two syllables.

The tired eyes and grey hair give people the impression she's a lot older than the other ponies as well as her voice, and it should be obvious to you at this point that sexualization of the characters does occur in this show's fandom, and some really like their cougars.

Mayor Mare is old (grey mane, crows feet, glasses) but still aparently pretty.

Nightmare Moon IS the Big Bad, the primary and most powerful villian.

The second picture makes me think that their love will be fake, caused by magic or something (spell gone wrong, love potion, cupid arrow etc).....
