Oh, yeah, I was wondering that myself. That was pretty dumb. And since Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash leaped over the train anyway, it would have been more impressive if the chase was still on.
32. Enjoy the little things
Dammit, I can't say anything negative about this episode anymore. I'll look like an asshole

Well, I just saw the episode.
...and I'm kinda afraid to go back further in the thread and figure out what kind of discussion erupted from it.
All I'm going to say for the moment is that I'm reminded of that one plot idea I thought of involving a competition, but for it to involve Applejack instead of Twilight was interesting.
And now a lot of Pinkie-as-Deadpool fanart got a little bit more validated.

Chimichangas.

Mr. Zip had a pretty strange build with longer legs than usual. It definitely gave him a sort of gangly teenager sort of vibe. I'd say he's probably a bit younger than the mane cast, but not too much.
Yeah, exactly. I saw the bag spill open and thought "wait a second..."
I think Mrs. Jubilee had the right of it. It
was really impressive of Applejack to place so many times, even if they weren't
first-place prizes.

I didn't know chimichangas were a deadpool thing.

Exactly. Applejack got a metric ton of ribbons and medals! And yeah, part of the moral of the episode was that you can be great even if you don't get first place - or was that "Fall Weather Friends"?

I seriously doubt any connection to Deadpool was intentional on the creator's part. Especially as it's extremely tenuous, but fan artists will do as they will.
I'd say Miss Jubilee was in her mid to late forties.

Not
intentional, no.
However, there was fanart of Pinkie as Deadpool, for obvious reasons, long before this episode.
Pinkie rambling about cherrychangas can only have fueled more of it.
In other news, I need a picture of Fluttershy's face when she gives up with the cherry line and goes "help."

I have a message from another time...
I rewatched it , in 1080p.
I love this episode, not only because of Derpy part, that wasn't even my favorite scene. My favorites are Pinkie being ultra anoying for AJ to force her to confess (remind me one of Ed, Edd & Eddy episode with ultra anoying Jonny), and chase scene. But rest is also great, maybe AJ had not do anything ultra awesome but it was interesting character focus. So what it was predictable, it can be even cliche strorm if enjoy it I will not care.
One of best episodes of Amy Keeting Rogers.
They are like the others. Strange, hideous, resisting, fighting. Only these were not like the others. They did not die.

Oh I know. Mainly because both characters are out of their bleeding heads. I'm familiar with the artwork.
Today's been strange. I keep reading certain posts in the voice of Sir Dereck Jacobi.

...What was Bon Bon doing at the train station when the Mane 5 set off to look for AJ? If I recall it was all Apple relatives.... and Bon Bon. Is she like *dare I say it* dating Mac or something?
