It's not a matter of strength, Red, I get that he's sensitive. I just too him as the type to hold it in while in public. He hardly ever shows any emotion, so this just felt a bit jarring to me. Again, not in a bad way, just a bit surprising I guess.

@Ginger: The thing is, it's unfair to everyone who legitimately likes her to have to defend her to you every time she gets mentioned. It's fine if you didn't like her in this episode, but if people did like her for some reason, I think we should just let them enjoy it, not point out why she was annoying. How would you feel if we had somebody on the forum who felt the same way about Applejack that you do about Pinkie?

I've got a real simple solution to the Pinkie issue. Let Ginger vent his feelings, and then just don't bother defending Pinkie. You all still like her, what's the point of rehashing it over and over?

@Kegi: But has he ever really had a reason to show emotion before? He isn't that prominent on the show, and a family member leaving town with no explanation is by far the worst thing that's happened to him on screen. He is the kind of guy that runs off happily with a doll, so he isn't completely stoic.

But then to be fair, if she annoys him so much why should he have to hear that she's fantastic every single time? I agree he can be a bit excessive about it, but he should still be allowed to state and defend his opinion. I mean, what's making people want him to stop? The fact that they're annoyed at how often they hear it? Isn't that why he dislikes Pinkie so much, because he constantly hears about how amazing she is?

@Blue: Ginger's a guy.

I mean... this is dangerously close to restarting the "debate", but I like Pinkie. She's not my favorite, but I do like her, and seeing anyone disparage her feels like seeing someone disparage one of my friends. It's not something I'm going to get angry about, but it's irking sometimes.

And that's all I have to say about it.

@Crow: I remember Big Mac being the one to not cry when AJ left in Cutie Mark Chronicles. IT was Granny who cried, wasn't it? and AJ sort of gave her a shoulder? I may be wrong about that.

And I liked the mailpony too. I was a little sad when the door slammed on him (poor guy looked heartbroken). I'm glad Pinkie gave him some cake.

He did indeed! He was so happy they remembered... and then they slammed the door in his face.
