The staff is very in touch with fannon. So theres a good chance they do know.
Weather-keeping responsibilities, to be sure, but she's had issues with caring for, say, her prospective pets.

And one does not refuse Angel.
I have a message from another time...
@Mage I mean, I know WHY, I just don't see why she wouldn't drop it as soon as the babies came up

@Ginger: I know! I'm trying not to think about it, and I really just want them to just be a nice, simple, happy family, but it's just where my mind goes!
His explanation is the truth. He just stammers a good deal, you've seen him in other scenes.

Since when is "easily distracted" a major trait for her? Getting her priorities mixed up in Sweet and Elite is a bit different.

It's just that look of panic in his eyes when he says it. Like he's asking someone else to confirm his theory on how it could happen.
Rainbow not terrible with kids? She tried to have Applebloom hang glide off a cliff.
Well Angel is her firend/surgot child, she can't exactly shaft him for a couple of brats of some pepole she dosen't know that well

I just think he isn't fully clear on how it works. He rattled off an explanation to the best of his knowledge, and suddenly realizes he's not sure if that makes sense.

I took Mr. Cake's shifty eyes as him glancing at the audience, like "here's your genetics explanation. It's a little wonky, but it's what you're getting." No need for Mrs. Cake to be having an affair.
Yeah, well. I'm just trying to let that explanation be the top one, for me.
@ Enlong: Well off the top of my head, she got distracted from Twilight in favour of gushing over Canterlot in the first episode. She was distracted from her role in The Return of Harmony by a diamond (before being Discorded). She was distracted from Twilight's dress in her Canterlot episode. She was distracted from dealing with the tree in Twilight's house by a minor mess.
